Launch of Vocal Maqamat Training Course with Star Bilal Al-Aghbari


The vocal maqamat training course was launched on Wednesday, organized by the Student Activities Department at the university under the supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs.

The course witnessed strong engagement from participating male and female students, in the presence of the star Bilal Al-Aghbari, who is delivering the training sessions for the university students with artistic talents.

The course, which started today, will continue for one week and aims to discover talented and creative students, refine their skills, develop their abilities, and encourage artistic creativity.


Civil Engineering Team Wins the First University Volleyball Championship


The Civil Engineering team secured the title of the first activation volleyball championship at Al-Janad University for Science and Technology after defeating the Dentistry team (Level 2) in the final match held this evening.

In the postponed final of the previous academic year due to COVID-19 circumstances, the Civil Engineering Level 2 team won three straight sets against the Dentistry team in a tournament organized by the Student Activities Department under the supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs.

The Civil Engineering team was crowned with the championship cup, while players from both teams were honored with medals and participation certificates, in a highly celebrated atmosphere after a match that witnessed strong competition and high sportsmanship.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammed Al-Wahabi, Dean of Student Affairs, and the Head of Student Activities.



Research Team from Al-Janad University Publishes Scientific Paper in International Journal


A research team from the College of Medical Sciences at Al-Janad University for Science and Technology in Taiz has successfully published a scientific paper in an American international journal, INQUIRY: The Journal of Health Care, which is indexed in the Q2 global ranking under the renowned American publisher SAGE.

The study is titled: “Level of Awareness Among Engaged (Fiancé/Contracted) and Newly Married Couples Regarding Pre-Marital Screening: A Cross-Sectional Study.”

The research was conducted in 2021 by Medical Laboratory students as part of their research methodology course projects, supervised by Dr. Mujib Al-Hassami, Head of the Pharmacy Department, and Dr. Mukhtar Al-Miliki, former Head of the Nursing Department at the university.
